So...every rugby team, or sports team for that matter has cheerleaders. These cheerleaders consist of group of extremely beautiful woman who know how to shake what their mothers gave them....but what i love about the Sharks cheerleaders..is that they had to be different to all the other cheerleaders. The Sharks vs Pumas- After the Final Whistle
Well the Sharks had their victory meal....but they definately had to work for it! The Pumas were on the prowl leaving the Sharks trailing behind for the majority of the 80 minutes. Half time arrived and the Sharks were trailing 14-17 to the Pumas. The Sharks must've had a good old talking to during half time because they finally took the lead in the 10th minute when Craig Burden scored a try. It all went uphill for the Sharks after that and when the final whistle was blown after a tiring 80 minutes, the Sharks had won 33-20. A mention must go out to the Pumas who put up a fantastic fight....it was not expected from a team who is one away from the bottom of the log...well played!!
The Sharks vs Pumas
The next thrilling rugby game that the Sharks will be playing is against the Pumas in Durban at 15:00. A summary of the game and the results will be posted after the game. Enjoy the game and lets watch the Sharks hopefully make the Pumas their next meal! :)
New Beginnings
This is not any old rugby blog....this blog and everything that is written comes from my perspective.....a girl's perspective. So everything that you expect from a rugby blog will be present in this blog...plus many more features that men don't see when they watch a rugby game. I may be a girl who watches rugby for the cute rugby players tackling each other for a ball, but i am also a girl who understands what scrums and line outs are.
